Not cardio failure. Not "I feel tired" failure. Muscular failure, the point where your muscle physically cannot complete another rep. That's the only stimulus that forces adaptation.
Every session you have one job. Beat last week's number. More weight, more reps, or better form. If you're not tracking, you're not progressing. If you're not progressing, you're not growing.
Not four. Not six. Two sets done with maximum intensity beat six sets done at 70% effort every single time. Less time in the gym. More muscle built outside it.
I spent 6 years in the gym training like most people train. High volume. High sets. Chasing the pump. Working hard enough that people around me noticed.
But my physique barely changed.
I went to the Olympia and saw guys my age, guys who weren’t spending more time than me in the gym, looking bigger and better. That broke something in me.
So I hired a real bodybuilding coach. And in two weeks of training his way I saw more change than I had seen in years.
That’s what I teach now. Not the way most people train. The way that actually works.
I make fitness simple and relatable because it should be. You don’t need to suffer more. You need to train smarter.
